Derrick Rose Back in Chicago?

Derrick Rose is willing to listen to the Chicago Bulls if interested in signing him in free agency reported by 670TheScore. Derrick Rose had a great season with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season including a 50 point performance on October 31, 2018. He had a bounce back season and how cool would it be to see him back in Bulls jersey?

Derrick Rose was selected with the first overall pick in the 2008 draft by the Chicago Bulls. He had a stellar rookie season and earned himself the Rookie of the Year joining Michael Jordan in 1985. In his sophomore season he was rewarded to play in the All-Star Game as a reserve. The 2010-11 season would be the year that Derrick Rose would show that he is a superstar for the Chicago Bulls by winning the NBA Most Valuable Player and be the youngest player to ever win the MVP trophy. The Bulls would go on to the Eastern Conference Finals where they would face Lebron James and the Miami Heat. They Bulls would lose the series in five games.

Derrick Rose was on the top of the world for the Chicago Bulls and there would be nothing that could stop him. In the 2011-12 season Rose would be voted as an All-Star starter for the second year in a row. He was having an amazing season leading the Bulls to the playoffs again. In Game 1 of the first round, Rose would suffer a knee injury when trying to jump. He was helped off the court and you could see all the Bulls fans thinking how could this happen. Rose had a MRI done and shown that he had tore his ACL. After this injury Rose would never look the same and would be crippled with injuries including tearing his meniscus in his right knee, and fracturing his orbital bone. In 2016, Rose would be traded to the New York Knicks, and just like that Chicago’s superstar was gone. Rose would go on to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. So could his next stop be back to Chicago?

Bulls fans fell in love with Derrick Rose and would love to see him put back on the Bulls jersey again. It’s the perfect time for the Chicago Bulls to go after Rose because they are in need of a point guard. Kris Dunn hasn’t panned out as the player that we all thought we were getting. Also Rose is coming off a season with a high shooting percentage, and would fit perfectly with Zach Lavine and Lauri Markkanen. If Lavine, Markkanen, and Rose can gel together then we are looking at a good squad. Signing Rose would also be a great attribute also because he loves Chicago and would put it on the floor every night. Like many fans, I just want to pull out my Derrick Rose #1 jersey and wear it again with pride again.
