The Washington National fans got a chance to voice their opinion towards their new biggest villain, Bryce Harper. Bryce Harper left the Washington Nationals this off season after being in Washington for 7 years to go to the Philadelphia Phillies. So Bryce’s return wasn’t going to be nice.
Bryce Harper had a lot of great years for the Washington Nationals and was the face of the organization. Bryce started with Nationals in 2012 and Bryce won the NL Rookie of the Year. In 2015, Bryce won the NL MVP by unanimous decision. He was only 23 years old when he won becoming the youngest player to unanimously win the award. Fun Fact of that year was that he hit the longest home run of his MLB career against the Phillies. But on March 2nd, Bryce signed with Phillies for 13 years worth $330 million dollars, and Nationals fans were not happy.
Bryce Harper was welcomed with that boo. But let’s see how his first at-bat would go.
But Bryce would get the last laugh in the Top of the 8th inning.
What you didn’t get to see though was Bryce’s swagger with his bat flip. I love bat-flips, and this is definitely up there.
This will be a great rivalry between Bryce and the Nationals. I just want to let Nationals fans that Bryce will always get the laugh because he will make 330 millions dollars.
